What is your idea of the perfect wedding?
Two people in love surrounded by friends and family who love them. Basically a lot of love!!
What is your greatest fear when you are working on a wedding?
Forgetting one of their names (couple getting married).
What is your best trait that helps you be so great at your job?
My job is centred around interacting with people and I think I am particularly personable and I feel like I can fit in with any social group.
Which living person do you most admire?
What is your greatest extravagance that helps you get through the day?
Coffee, I am very ritualistic about my coffee.
What is your current state of mind?
Happy I am between weddings as I write this so my brain is processing everything that happened at the first one whilst thinking about the new groups of guests I get to entertain at the next one.
What do you think is the most overrated thing that couples try to squeeze into their wedding day?
On what occasion is lying to the happy couple a good idea?
Never but in my line of work I sometimes have to bend the truth a little 😉
What is the worst outfit you have ever seen at a wedding?
A guest wearing one of those rubber horse heads for the whole time I was there (2 hours).
What is the best theme you have seen at a wedding?
I attended a Game of Thrones themed wedding where the level of detail was incredible.
What is the hardest thing a couple has ever asked you to do for their day?
Funnily enough it was the Game of Thrones themed wedding. I was a surprise for the groom and the bride asked me to do a custom 20 minute private performance for them and the effects were all Game of thrones themed!!!

What is the most overused word at a wedding – or in a wedding speech?
When was the last time you laughed out loud at a wedding? What happened?
I laughed out loud as I produced a card from my pocket and the mother of the bride swore very loudly!!
What makes an ideal wedding?
Kind of the same answer to number one.
What is the most unusual entertainment you have ever seen at a wedding?
At my own wedding I had three Victorian Stongmen walking about during the drinks reception entertaining the guests with banter and acrobatic stunts.
If you could change one thing about a wedding, what would it be?
What moment are you most proud of in your profession?
I think winning the national award for best entertainment at the wedding industry awards was that moment.
If you were to die and come back as person or thing, what would it be?
My dog because she has an amazing life.
Where is your favourite setting for a wedding?
I am rather fond of yurts as that’s what we had for our wedding.
What is the one thing you can’t live without in your job?
What is the most embarrassing thing you have seen at a wedding?
A guest being sick on another guest.
What is your favourite occupation, apart from your own?
I love cooking so I’d have to say chef.
What question do you wish every couple would ask you when you are meeting with them for the first time?
Would you like to be provided with a meal at the wedding 😉
Where do you draw inspiration from for your work?
Music is a big one I listen to music whilst practising. Also I watch a lot of stand up comedy which I find very inspiring.
What is your biggest regret at a wedding you have worked on?
I know it’s sounds silly but I once didn’t get a chance to say bye to the couple before leaving, because the speeches started.

What would people be surprised to learn about you and/or your work?
Perhaps that I have a degree in Modern Drama and I have also studied at the UK’s leading Circus school. As for my work I think would be surprised if they knew how much practise has gone into some of my act.
