Weddings
The Matara Centre is steeped in the tradition of the unexpected in the Cotswolds. It is a truly unique Gloucestershire wedding & events venue set in 28 acres of strolling grounds, offering a relaxed and joyful setting for every occasion. Our Asian inspired, exclusive use venue is licenced to host indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies. Complimented by the Grade II listed Regency home, Matara is intimate enough for 25 guests and grand enough to comfortably host up to 200 guests.
Gardens & Parklands
our
As caretakers of the land we have allocated half of the 28 acres to natural habitat, protecting and encouraging diverse wildlife. Those 14 acres now have a life of their own, continually increasing in richness and natural diversity. You will find woodlands, wetlands, flower meadows and hedgerows. Come, enjoy the tranquility and beauty. Take time, relax and reconnect with the natural world.
Accommodation
The Grade II listed Cotswold Regency home, in Gloucestershire, includes the 10 bedrooms with 5 and half baths, exclusive use of the kitchen, two dining rooms, and three receiving rooms making it the perfect place for family gatherings and intimate retreats.

The estate also has 4 private en-suite bedrooms and our honeymoon lodge allowing us to host up to 30 guests.
