Film Location
"I am the Series Producer of Sister Boniface, a BBC Studios production for Britbox. We were lucky enough to be the first television show to film at the beautiful Matara Centre. We couldn’t have been happier with the location which offered such a variety of possibilities all in the one location. We utilised beautiful romantic interiors, the woods and much of the Asian inspired gardens – much of it with excellent weather cover. Olivia and her team couldn’t have been more helpful in accommodating our needs and we were able to house our unit base in an adjoining field. I would highly recommend this location to other televisions and film companies."

Retreats
Set within 28 acres of parklands, gardens, and woodlands Matara offers plenty of space to explore, relax and regroup, making it the perfect place to host a retreat.

There are intimate spaces available for smaller groups as well as the Hilarium for larger gatherings. We also have onsite accommodation for 18* people, giving the opportunity for multi-day retreats.
